Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking hands-on technicians for precision fabrication in a fast-paced environment. You will assemble, test, and repair prototype hardware, work with engineers to troubleshoot, and maintain records using Word and Excel.

The role requires 2+ years hands-on experience in a lab or cleanroom, the ability to follow SOPs, and strong attention to detail. Second shift hours are 11am–7:30pm.

Qualificações

• Hands-on, assembly of prototypes and testing
• Experience with engineering documentation and data recording
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations per specs
• Willingness to mentor junior technicians

Responsabilidades

• Perform skilled assembly work to build, modify and repair prototypes
• Support engineers on technical projects and manage technical data
• Prepare engineering docs, reports and drawings (sketches/diagrams)
• Conduct tests and record data to aid analysis
• Operate and maintain assembly equipment under training
• Mentor junior technicians as needed
