Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Technician to perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. You will operate equipment for alignment, masking, etch, deposition, testing and diffusion, and manage workflows to optimize output.

Position to reside on D-Shift (6pm–6am) as a contingent opening. The role requires basic math, strong communication and dexterity, with opportunity to work with engineering on tests and process optimization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic mathematical computations and writing tasks.
• Effective communication in speaking and writing.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for small components.
• Ability to understand directions and follow procedures.
• Stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform wafer fabrication functions in production of semiconductor devices.
• Operate equipment for alignment, masking, etch, deposition, testing and diffusion.
• Manage workflows to optimize equipment output performance.
• Set up, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on fabrication equipment.
• Collect and evaluate data to adjust processes for optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering on tests and experiments and train junior technicians.
