Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. in Utah is seeking a hands-on team member to work in a semiconductor cleanroom environment, manufacturing microchip devices on silicon wafers.

You will keep semi-automated machines running and follow detailed instructions to maintain product quality and safety. The role emphasizes reading procedures, data recording, and the ability to multitask while maintaining high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a High School Diploma.
• Three months in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures, recording specific test parameters, and qualifying equipment prior to production start.
• Must be willing to learn new processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated effective written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks on a daily basis.
• High attention to detail.
• Demonstrated computer skills with spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
• Preferred: Six months of silicon wafer fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards in area.
• Perform measurements of semi-conductor wafer & device, ensuring key parameter guidelines are met.
• Run a variety of machines in cleanroom.
• Follow procedures in semiconductor wafer processing guidelines.
• Ensure that training expectations are followed.
• Accurately record and enter data.
• Able to make reasonable judgments and elevate concerns to engineering.
• Reject products not meeting specification.
