Keep multiple semi-automated machines consistently running to keep product processing correctly. Use judgement to identify any product concerns during processing.Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required and receives detailed instructions on all work.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED1. Maintain safety standards in area.2. Performs measurements of semi-conductor wafer & device, ensuring that key parameter guidelines are met.3. Runs a variety of machines in cleanroom.4. Follow procedures in semiconductor wafer processing guidelines.5. Ensures that training expectations are followed.6. Accurately record and enter data.7. Able to make reasonable judgements and escalate concerns to engineering.8. Reject product not meeting specification.9. Performs other related processing tasks, as required.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS• Lifting - Not to exceed 50 lbs. – local practice may apply.• Writing• Sitting• Standing• Bending• Visual acuity• Color perception• Depth perception• Reading• Field of vision/peripheral• Fine motor skills• Noise• Chemical vapors• Soldering fumesSUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS• Education equivalent to a High School Diploma.• Three months in a manufacturing or similar environment.• Ability to read and follow written procedures, recording specific test parameters, and qualifying equipment prior to production start.• Must be willing to learn new processes and procedures.• Demonstrated effective written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member.• Ability to perform multiple tasks on a daily basis.• High attention to detail.• Demonstrated computer skills with spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Six months of silicon wafer fabrication experience.COMPETENCIES• Silicon wafer fabrication• Production documentation• Monitoring multiple semiconductor machines at a time• Operate variety of semiconductor machines• Basic computer skillsCOMMENTSInfectious Control Risk Category III:The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs.
