Job summary

MACOM is seeking a Shift Engineer for semiconductor wafer fabrication in the United States. The role focuses on process troubleshooting, WIP management, and SPC-driven quality control. You will work with Engineering to quickly contain issues and drive continuous process improvement.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing, a BS in Engineering (MS preferred), and strong problem-solving and communication skills. ITAR requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of engineering and/or manufacturing management.
• BS in Engineering; MS preferred.
• ITAR: US Persons only.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of defense for recipe corrections and FA errors.
• Balance 50% WIP monitoring with 50% troubleshooting process/equipment.
• Maintain process control using SPC tools and corrective actions.
• Manage Lot Processing status for released recipes.
• Collaborate with Engineering to address OOC/OOS conditions.
• Provide MT training and certification sign-off.
