Job summary

WD is seeking an on-site Operations Support role in California to help manufacturing teams with data-driven improvements. You will collect and analyze production data, build dashboards, and support reporting across quality and efficiency initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on data skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to learn SPC/MES in a cleanroom environment. A strong candidate will have Excel/PowerPoint expertise and comfort with basic programming and analytics.

Qualifications

• Learn wafer manufacturing processes and logistics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn SPC, MES and other Manufacturing applications.
• Must be able to work in a cleanroom.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency (preferred).
• Basic skills in programming, data query, and data analytics (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support Manufacturing teams with ad hoc projects and operational initiatives.
• Collect, analyze, and report data to support manufacturing performance, quality improvements, and business decisions.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Utilize basic programming, data query, and data analytics skills to improve reporting and process efficiency.
• Support local IT-related projects, equipment deployments, and technology initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and site-wide initiatives.
