Sentar is seeking a Web Application Firewall (WAF) Support Specialist in Charleston, SC to manage and evolve application-layer security controls using F5 ASM for DoD cybersecurity initiatives. The role focuses on policy development, incident response, and cross-team coordination to ensure robust web protection across distributed networks.

The ideal candidate will have DoD cybersecurity experience, DoD 8570 IAT Level II and related certifications, and strong communication skills to support

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 6+ years of overall technical experience with degree or 10+ years without a degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and GCIH, CEH or CySA+ preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Issue Firewall Acceptances based on customer requests.
• Develop, tune, and maintain WAF policies using F5 ASM.
• Coordinate deployments with cloud architects and site engineers.
• Tune policies using learning mode analysis and stakeholder feedback.
• Coordinate site access management and block/unblock requests.
• Collaborate with subscriber sites to refine rule sets and false positives.
• Support onboarding of new applications into protected environments.
• Participate in incident response surges and threat hunting steps.
• Align policy updates with adversary TTPs and vulnerabilities.
