Job summary

Core4ce is seeking an experienced F5 Advanced Web Application Firewall (AWAF) Engineer to support secure enterprise web apps and APIs. You will collaborate with cybersecurity, owners, and infra teams to tune policies, reduce false positives, and ensure strong enforcement.

The role includes alert analysis, incident support, and ongoing policy development. Remote US-based candidates are welcome; active Secret clearance is preferred and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, network or application security.
• 3+ years hands-on with F5 AWAF/ASM or similar platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWAF/ASM policies for web apps and APIs.
• Tune policies with application owners to minimize false positives.
• Analyze WAF events and coordinate incident response as needed.
• Document policy decisions, baselines, and exceptions.
