Sentar in Charleston, SC seeks a Web Application Firewall (WAF) Support Specialist to manage and evolve application-layer security controls using F5 Application Security Manager (ASM). You will support DoD cybersecurity initiatives, tune WAF policies, and coordinate with cloud and site teams to ensure high-performing web protection across global defense networks.

The role involves incident response surge participation, false-positive refinement, and collaboration with multiple teams to deploy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required with 6+ years of technical experience or 10+ years with no degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and GCIH, CEH or CySA+ are required.

Responsabilités

• Issue Firewall Acceptances based on customer requests.
• Develop and tune WAF policies using F5 ASM.
• Coordinate deployments with cloud and site engineers.
• Support incident response surges and threat hunting efforts.
• Align updates with adversary TTPs and vulnerability trends.
