Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to configure and provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls for client applications. You will monitor traffic, analyze security events, respond to incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security.

Experience with WAF solutions such as Cloudflare and Imperva is required, and Terraform will be used for IaC. You will join a diverse cybersecurity team at EY and contribute to maintaining an improved

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
1–2 years of web application security operations experience with WAF management.
Hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Imperva WAF solutions.
Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Familiar with ITIL processes and incident management.

Responsibilities

Configure and optimize WAF solutions to protect web applications.
Provide ongoing operational coverage and maintain WAF performance.
Monitor application traffic and security events to identify threats.
Analyze security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and remediation.
Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
Develop and maintain WAF policies, rules, and documentation.
Support security audits and assessments and ensure policy adherence.
Stay current with threats and technologies to enhance security posture.
Leverage Cloudflare, Imperva, and Terraform for deployment and management.
