Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3–5 years of web application security operations experience focused on WAF management.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Imperva WAF solutions.
• Terraform for infrastructure automation experience.
• Strong knowledge of web app protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
• Certifications such as CISSP or Security+ are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize WAF solutions for client apps.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor traffic and security events to identify threats.
• Analyze security incidents and perform root cause remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to mitigate incidents.
• Develop WAF policies, rules, and documentation.
• Support security audits and adherence to policies.
• Stay updated on threats and new security technologies.
• Use WAF tools including Cloudflare and Imperva; apply Terraform IaC.
• Mentor junior engineers on WAF management and incident response.
