Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to configure and manage web application firewalls, ensuring secure and high-performing client applications. You will monitor traffic, analyze security events, and respond to incidents to mitigate risks.

You will work with Cloudflare and Imperva, automate security measures with Terraform, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the security posture of web apps in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in web application security operations, focusing on WAF management.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Imperva is required.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation is preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP or Security+ are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize WAF solutions to secure web applications.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and remediate.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
