Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to configure and maintain web application firewall protections, monitor traffic, and respond to incidents to mitigate risks. You will collaborate with incident response teams and use Terraform to automate security measures.

You will work with Cloudflare and Imperva to implement robust WAF policies and strengthen the security posture of client web applications, while contributing to incident investigations and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor preferred in CS/IT/cybersecurity.
• 1–2 years in web app security operations focusing on WAF management.
• Hands-on with WAFs such as Cloudflare and Imperva.
• Terraform for infrastructure automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize WAF solutions for web applications.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor application traffic and security events for threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security incidents and perform root cause remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
