Job summary

Electrosoft is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to provide enterprise-level cybersecurity engineering for a DoD environment, focusing on Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies, including F5 BIG-IP ASM. The role supports protection, availability, and security of DoD web applications.

The engineer will participate in planning, design, testing, integration, implementation, and sustainment of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring robust WAF configurations and ongoing security improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of IT experience.
• F5 Certified Technology Specialist ASM eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and optimize WAF policies for DoD websites and applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify security requirements and develop WAF policies.
• Perform maintenance, patching, upgrades, and configuration changes for WAF environments.
• Analyze security requirements and recommend appropriate controls and configurations.
• Support testing of WAF policies prior to production.
• Troubleshoot WAF issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate changes through government change-management processes.
• Provide documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
