Job summary

Electrosoft is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to provide enterprise-level cybersecurity engineering and sustainment support for a DoD environment, focusing on Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies, including F5 BIG-IP ASM, to protect DLA web applications.

The Cybersecurity Engineer will deliver planning, design, development, testing, integration, implementation, and sustainment of cybersecurity solutions across the project lifecycle, ensuring secure and resilient web applications for

Qualifications

Seven (7) years of IT experience.
Eligible for IT I position.
F5 Certified Technology Specialist (ASM) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Configure, test, maintain, and optimize WAF policies for DoD websites and applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify security requirements and develop WAF policies.
Perform maintenance, patching, upgrades, and configuration changes for WAF environments.
Analyze security requirements and recommend controls and configurations.
Support testing of WAF policies prior to production deployment.
Troubleshoot WAF issues and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and security.
Coordinate changes through government change-management processes.
Develop implementation documentation, SOPs, and policy documentation.
Support security testing, remediation, and compliance activities.
