Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring for a senior security engineer in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on deployment, operation, and ongoing support of enterprise WAFs like Akamai Kona and F5 ASM/AWAF.

You will analyze application logs, collaborate with developers on secure coding, and participate in incident response with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 8+ years deploying and maintaining enterprise WAF products (Akamai Kona, F5 ASM/AWAF).
• Support security infrastructure and related projects across the network.
• Strong troubleshooting via packet captures, CLI, and network protocols.
• Understanding of TCP/IP Layer 7 security fundamentals.
• Ability to analyze logs and collaborate with developers on secure coding.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems or relevant field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of interfacing with all levels.
• Customer-centric approach with strong relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor web application firewalls (F5, Akamai) enterprise-wide.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for supported technologies.
• Contribute to architecture and engineering for security projects.
• Conduct health checks and user activity audits.
• Create and maintain security design and operation documents.
