A local educational staffing agency is seeking a part-time Substitute Aide for Wadsworth City Schools in Wadsworth, Ohio, for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities include providing instructional and emotional support for students with Individual Education Plans. No formal experience is needed, as training is provided. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a valid Aide permit from the Ohio Department of Education. Compensation is $15 per hour with various benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BCI & FBI background checks completed within the past 12 months and on file.
• Willingness to assist in obtaining Aide permit if needed.

Responsibilities

Wadsworth City Schools - Substitute Aide

Renhill Group is currently looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work on a substitute (part-time, on-call) basis as an Educational Aide for select locations in the Wadsworth City School District in Wadsworth, Ohio for the 2025-2026 school year.

Locations Include:

• Valley View Elementary
• Overlook Elementary
• Wadsworth High School

An Educational Aide provides instructional, physical, and social emotional assistance in a caring and nurturing environment to meet the unique needs of students with Individual Education Plans.

No formal experience? No problem. Renhill Group's online training courses designed by current and former school district administrators will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to ensure your success in the classroom.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BCI & FBI background checks
  • Completed within the past 12 months and on file with the Ohio Department of Education
  • Renhill Group offers background checks at one of the area’s lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them
• Aide permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education
  • Renhill Group will assist you in obtaining your permit if needed. Permit costs $25 and payment is made directly to the Ohio Department of Education
