Job summary

Puget Sound Kidney Centers is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee dialysis delivery and patient care. The role includes educating patients, supervising Dialysis Technicians, adjusting treatment plans per standing orders, monitoring outcomes, and collaborating with the care team.

This float position covers four clinic locations (Everett, Smokey Point, Mountlake Terrace, Monroe) with AM/PM shifts, Monday–Saturday.

Qualifications

• Dialysis experience required.
• 1 year nursing experience minimum.
• WA RN license required and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dialysis delivery and patient care.
• Educate patients on dialysis treatment.
• Supervise Dialysis Technicians and adjust treatment plans.
• Monitor patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with social workers, dietitians, and nephrologist.

Job description

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) will oversee the delivery of dialysis and the care of patients at Puget Sound Kidney Centers (PSKC). The RN will be responsible for providing education to patients, supervising Dialysis Technicians, adjusting treatment plans per standing orders, care plans, monitoring the patient s outcomes, administer medications, participating in quality improvement projects, and collaborating with other members of the patient s care team (social worker, dietitians, and nephrologist). This is a chronic, in-center position that would cover our peninsula locations, working any day Monday - Saturday. Full position description is attached.

This is a float assignment where the RN will be expected to cover 4 clinic locations, Everett, Smokey Point, Mountlake Terrace, and Monroe.

Licensure & Certification

• Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing or Multi-State Compact Nurse license.
• Current certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card with American Heart Association.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• Previous Dialysis experience, required.
• Prior experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing preferred.

Location & Hours

Must be able to work at any PSKCs clinics in Mountlake Terrace, Everett, Monroe, and Smokey Point.

Must be able to work any shift (AM/PM) schedule depending upon staffing needs.
