Job summary

Safeload Trucking is hiring a CDL-A regional driver to run primarily within the Southwest region with occasional out-of-region routes to maximize miles. Drivers receive weekly home time with a 34-hour reset and average approximately 2,000 miles per week hauling 100% no-touch freight.

Detention pay starts after 2 hours at $12.50 per hour (or higher as required by law), layover pay is $100 per day, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license with minimum driving experience.
• Ability to perform live unloads when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional Southwest routes with occasional out-of-region trips to maximize miles.
• Maintain safety and on-time deliveries while adhering to company policies.
• Complete required logs and documentation for each trip.

W2 CDL-A Regional Driver | Home Weekly | Southwest
Job Type: Driver

We are hiring CDL-A Regional Drivers to run primarily within the Southwest region, with occasional routes outside the region to maximize miles. Drivers receive weekly home time with a 34-hour reset and average approximately 2,000 miles per week hauling 100% no-touch freight.

Pay & Sign-On Bonus

Average weekly pay: $1,100 - $1,200

Top 20% of drivers earn $1,500+ per week

Average weekly mileage: approximately 2,000 miles

Detention pay: $12.50 per hour after 2 hours, or higher as required by law

Layover pay: $100 per day, or higher as required by law

Sign-on bonus: $3,000 total

Schedule & Home Time

Weekly home time with a 34-hour reset

Primarily Southwest regional routes

Occasional runs outside the region to maximize miles

Must be available for varying route schedules and delivery needs

2021 or newer Freightlander Cascadia or Kenworth tractors

Requirements

Valid CDL-A required with 3 months minimum of experience

Must be able to perform live unloads when required

Must be available for regional and occasional out-of-region routes
