Job summary

Jobot in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead a skilled team in delivering design and construction support for municipal water and wastewater systems. You will oversee facility design, infrastructure and permitting while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree and 8+ years of design experience, plus PE licensure or the plan to obtain it within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the technical design of municipal water and wastewater systems.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team on water and wastewater projects.
• Oversee the design and management of linear infrastructure, water/wastewater systems, and treatment facilities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage project tasks including treatment facility design, intakes, booster stations, planning, mapping, and permitting.

Responsibilities

• As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will lead and mentor a dynamic team focused on water and wastewater projects.
• Responsible for overseeing the design and management of linear infrastructure, water/wastewater systems, and treatment facilities
• Building strong client relationships will be key, as you will regularly engage with clients to ensure the highest standards of satisfaction.
• Your projects will involve a variety of tasks including treatment facility design, raw water intakes, booster pump stations, regional water planning, water system mapping, sanitary sewer system design, asset management, and permitting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 or more years of experience in the technical design of municipal water and wastewater systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
