Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for a hybrid role in the Asheville area. You will lead a team delivering municipal water and wastewater projects, overseeing design and construction aspects while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in municipal water/wastewater design, a PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. This position offers robust growth, above-market pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the technical design of municipal water and wastewater systems.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a dynamic water/wastewater project team.
• Oversee the design and management of linear infrastructure, water/wastewater systems, and treatment facilities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Projects involve treatment facility design, raw water intakes, booster pump stations, regional water planning, water system mapping, sanitary sewer design, asset management, and permitting.
