Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Security Engineer II to join the Cyber Defense & Resilience CTEM team in the United States. You will help identify exposures, prioritize remediation, and reduce risk across complex tech environments while coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and delivering client-facing analyses.

The role requires strong collaboration, communication, meticulous work, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in information technology, information security, vulnerability management, patch management, or related areas.
• Experience supporting vulnerability remediation, patch management, or CTEM activities.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities across Linux, Windows, middleware, and applications.
• Experience with tools like BigFix, SCCM, Red Hat Satellite, WSUS, Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys.
• Automation/scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON.
• Experience using ITSM platforms like ServiceNow to coordinate remediation and track status.
• Ability to travel ~50% based on client engagements.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerability remediation and patching activities aligned to CTEM priorities.
• Execute vulnerability and patch management tasks across infrastructure, middleware, and applications.
• Analyze exposure data, asset criticality, exploitability, and attack paths to prioritize remediation.
• Assist with exception management, reporting, and process improvements to reduce cyber risk.
• Prepare client-facing analyses, dashboards, and status updates to track remediation progress and exposure reduction.
