Job summary

Courser seeks a CTEM Engineer to lead vulnerability identification, validation, and remediation across managed environments. You will own the CTEM platform and drive risk-based remediation aligned with SLAs and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in vulnerability management or security operations.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management methodologies and remediation best practices.
• Experience with vulnerability management and security monitoring platforms (CVSS, KEV, risk-based remediation).
• Knowledge of network and security fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
• Cloud security concepts across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Scripting or automation in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Ability to communicate risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating remediation with MSPs or third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vulnerabilities and risks across managed environments using CTEM tools.
• Validate detections to reduce false positives and focus remediation on verified risk.
• Coordinate remediation activities to meet SLAs and customer commitments.
• Track remediation progress and report on SLA compliance.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize exposure trends and remediation performance.
