Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Vulnerability Management Lead to oversee the full vulnerability lifecycle across applications and infrastructure.

You will configure assessment tools, run scans, analyze results, and coordinate remediation with technical teams to reduce risk in the environment. This role requires strong leadership, partnership building, and the ability to define metrics, report findings, and drive timely action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Five or more years of information security experience, especially in vulnerability analysis on a SOC/CIRT/CERT or SOC.
• Five or more years deploying and operating vulnerability scanning infrastructure.
• Five or more years with information security control frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, CobIT, etc.
• Proficiency in system and network security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including common protocols and web security

Responsibilities

• Leads the proactive assessment and remediation of security vulnerabilities within applications and infrastructure software and/or other information assets.
• Establishes strategies and frameworks for performing validation of scanning results and asset discovery.
• Recommend fixes, security patches, and other measures required in the event of a security breach.
• Define KPIs and metrics across business units to illustrate vulnerability management effectiveness.
• Implement or coordinate remediation required by scans and audits, documenting exceptions as necessary.
• Produce vulnerability, configuration, and coverage metrics and reporting to demonstrate remediation effectiveness.
• Generate reports on assessment findings and prioritize remediation schedules.
• Maintain health and effectiveness of scanning applications and systems in security
