Job summary

Toyota Tsusho Systems US, Inc. is seeking a Vulnerability Management Engineer to mature and support an enterprise vulnerability program in Plano, TX.

This hands-on role owns vulnerabilities across the full lifecycle—from identification and triage through remediation, validation, and closure. You will translate technical findings into risk-based actions for infrastructure, applications, cloud, security, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ownership of the complete vulnerability lifecycle from identification to closure.
• Experience with enterprise vulnerability management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of CVE, CVSS, exploitability, and remediation.
• Ability to translate findings into risk-based actions for multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability findings from identification through remediation, validation, and closure.
• Analyze scanner results and risk data (CVE, CVSS, KEV, EPSS, advisories).
• Investigate findings for applicability, root cause, and ownership.
• Identify false positives and exceptions requiring validation.
• Communicate remediation requirements to owners across teams.
• Track remediation timelines and support emergency response to critical threats.
• Provide context and mitigation options to remediation teams.
• Validate remediation via rescanning and evidence assessment.
• Operate enterprise vulnerability platforms (Qualys VMDR, Tenable, Rapid7).
• Develop risk-based metrics and reports on vulnerability trends and remediation performance.
• Collaborate with IT, Cloud, Security Ops, Threat Intel, and Governance teams.
