Qualifications

• Own vulnerability lifecycle from identification to closure.
• Interpret scanner results and assess risk.
• Coordinate remediation with multiple teams.
• Validate remediation via rescans and evidence.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability findings from identification to closure.
• Analyze scanner results and risk data (CVE, CVSS, KEV, EPSS).
• Investigate findings for applicability, root cause, severity, ownership.
• Identify false positives, accepted risks, and exceptions needing validation.
• Communicate remediation requirements to owners clearly.
• Track remediation timelines and SLAs; escalate high-risk issues.
• Provide guidance to remediation teams with options and recommendations.
• Validate remediation and ensure correct disposition in tools.
• Maintain enterprise vulnerability platforms and data quality.
• Develop risk-based metrics on trends and outcomes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve coverage and outcomes.
• Maintain procedures and automate repeatable workflows.
