Job summary

Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is recruiting a Vulnerability Management Analyst to strengthen cybersecurity for the AFNCR ITS2 program, supporting the Pentagon, JB Andrews, and JBAB. The role emphasizes vulnerability detection, remediation, and compliance across Air Force networks.

The position requires an Active Secret clearance and DoD-focused cybersecurity expertise, with on-site work in the National Capital Region and occasional remote tasks with client approval.

Qualifications

• Must operate in a regulated DoD environment with integrity.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across technical teams, cybersecurity offices, and mission stakeholders.
• Maintain required DoD cybersecurity certifications for the role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability detection, assessment, analysis, and remediation using DoD/AF/AFDW systems and tools.
• Maintain ACAS capabilities and ensure scans are properly configured and executed.
• Provide recurring vulnerability scan results, cybersecurity reports, and trend analysis.
• Analyze scan data and logs to identify vulnerabilities and potential incidents.
• Configure tools per NIST/DoD/Air Force/DISA guidance.
• Review STIGs and coordinate remediation actions.
• Develop and track POA&Ms through closure and RMF-related tasks.
• Support RMF security controls testing and validation.
• Operate MECM or equivalent endpoint security tooling.
