Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Product Security Engineer to monitor emerging vulnerabilities, deploy large-scale security systems, and build tooling for complex security challenges. You will analyze threats, leverage Falcon platform features, and collaborate with product teams to reduce risk in real-world environments.

The role requires 5–7+ years in security, scripting skills, and experience with Linux/Unix and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in CS or related field, plus 5–7+ years in security roles.
• Experience implementing and supporting security systems and tooling.
• Ability to research CVEs, assess exploitability and risk, and translate into remediation actions.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python/Golang or similar languages.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and cloud platforms (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Analyze vulnerabilities, assess exploitability and risk, and prioritize remediation.
• Perform risk-based analysis of vulnerability exposure and develop data-driven prioritization frameworks.
• Build and monitor asset-detection tools across multi-cloud environments.
• Develop security KPIs and communicate posture to technical and exec audiences.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to align remediation timelines.
