Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Product Security Engineer in the Vulnerability Intelligence team to monitor threats and build tooling. You will analyze CVEs, implement detection across clouds, and drive risk-based remediation with R&D and product teams.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years in security, strong scripting skills, and experience with Linux, cloud platforms, and the Falcon platform. U.S. residency is required.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in a security role implementing security systems
• Strong scripting in Python, Go, or Ruby/Chef
• Experience with Linux/Unix and cloud platforms (GCP)
• Ability to research CVEs and assess exploitability
• Collaborates across engineering, product, and leadership teams to communicate risk
• Willingness to work from U.S. soil and pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Analyze emerging vulnerabilities, assess exploitability and business risk, and recommend prioritized remediation strategies
• Conduct risk-based analysis of vulnerability exposure and develop data-driven prioritization frameworks aligned with business risk tolerance
• Implement and monitor tools for detection and monitoring of assets across multiple clouds and data centers
• Develop and maintain vulnerability management KPIs and communicate security posture to technical and executive stakeholders
• Utilize the latest Falcon features to improve security posture and provide direct feedback to product teams
