The candidate will work with Nessus/ACAS, SCAP tools, and eMASS, with responsibilities spanning data collection, status updates, and stakeholder coordination. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in cybersecurity, with 3+ years in vulnerability tracking and reporting.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• Security+ certification required.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing basic scan outputs and filter false-positives.
• Schedule and execute vulnerability scans using Nessus or ACAS.
• Collect asset compliance data and patch reports for senior review.
• Document daily scanning status and support team briefings.
• Generate reports using Gabriel Nimbus, Foundry/Vantage, Excel.
• Coordinate remediation activities with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to audit responses and documentation per guidance from senior staff.
• Stay current with threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
• Ingest taskings into central tracking registers.
• Coordinate with admins and network teams to gather remediation evidence.
• Deconflict scanning with maintenance windows and ASIs.
• Support priority mitigation workflows for critical patches.
