The instructor is responsible for adding outcomes, academic materials, discussion and assignment that support the course description. Additionally, VTSU Online instructors are obligated to adhere to the VTSU Online Standards that address instructor presence, student engagement, instructor expectations, and assessment of student work.Course # & Name : PSY-3250-SO01: Multicultural PsychologyCredits: 3Course description:This course studies the effect of culture, subculture and cultural trends on human behavior and human development, with emphasis on the impact of race, religion, gender and other cultural factors on psychological development.Qualifications:For consideration, candidates must possess at least a master's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience. Instructors are expected to add weekly content including outcomes, readings, videos, discussions, and assessments in alignment with the course description, and follow and VTSU Online Standards of course design, readiness, instructor presence, engagement, assessment, and accessibility. The full course must be ready and published at least one week prior to the start of the semester.Candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, a letter of reference, academic transcript, and statement of commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
