Job summary

Abile Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced AV/IT professional to lead design, installation, and maintenance of high‑end AV systems within a multi-network, security‑defined environment for an Intelligence Community customer.

Responsibilities include project planning, troubleshooting, training, documentation, and collaboration with IT teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in AV technology or related field, 5+ years in AV design/maintenance, and Security+ or equivalent within 90 days.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in AV systems design, installation, and maintenance.
Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Designs and implements AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, and presentation systems.
Installs, configures, and maintains AV equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems, and control systems.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex AV issues in a timely manner.
Manages AV network infrastructure and ensures integration with existing IT systems.
Plans and executes AV system upgrades and migrations.
Provides training to end-users on AV equipment operation and best practices.
Develops and maintains documentation for AV system configurations and processes.
Collaborates with IT teams to ensure AV systems align with overall technology strategy.
Manages inventory of AV equipment and coordinates with vendors for procurement and maintenance.
Ensures AV systems comply with security protocols and accessibility standards.
Stays current with emerging AV technologies and recommends improvements to existing systems.
