Job summary

Sorenson Communications, LLC seeks a Part-Time Sign Language Interpreter for VRS in Chattanooga, Tennessee. You will provide ASL to English interpretation and support a fast-paced, regulated service environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining licensure compliance, completing tasks promptly, and leveraging premium shifts to boost earnings. A HS diploma is required; a degree is preferred and salary is hourly based on location and credentials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or better in High School or related field.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years’ interpretting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English in VRS.
• Maintain compliance with licensure/certification requirements.
• Complete tasks promptly and accurately within guidelines.
• Support a flexible, fast-paced, highly regulated work environment.
• Participate in ongoing education and skills development.
