Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Interpretation, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and/or on-site interpreting across diverse settings.
• Strong linguistic skills with understanding of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances.
• Familiarity with interpreting technologies and video conferencing platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
• Effective communication to facilitate interactions with clients and teams.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Certification or training in interpreting is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Video Remote and On-Site Interpretation across legal, medical, corporate, and community settings.
• Prepare for assignments by researching terminology and client expectations.
• Maintain terminology consistency with client glossaries and style guides.
• Conduct post-session quality assurance and document updates to terminology.
• Collaborate with project managers, interpreters, and language experts to deliver high-quality interpretation.
• Utilize video conferencing platforms and interpreting tools effectively for VRI.
