Job summary

Air Engineers is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sales Engineer to support growth of VRF systems and related solutions. The role blends technical HVAC expertise with consultative sales, working with contractors, engineers, owners and architects to engineer effective VRF-based designs for commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on VRF design, application, or sales experience and familiarity with Mitsubishi Electric CITY MULTI.

Qualifications

Hands-on VRF system design, application, selection or sales experience.
Experience reading mechanical plans, specs, schedules and project requirements.
Strong consultative selling, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and promote VRF solutions for commercial HVAC projects.
Review drawings and specs to identify equipment and application needs.
Assist customers with VRF system design, equipment selection, configuration and questions.
Prepare quotations and project proposals with accurate equipment selections.
Provide technical guidance on VRF heat pump and heat recovery applications, controls and integration.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors and engineers.
Support project development from initial design through order and delivery.
