Qualifications

• 90% of work will be orchestrator-related, with a good understanding of standard blueprints.
• Extensibility into infrastructure such as Remedy, Infoblox, and SCOM.
• Fluent in custom dashboard creation for vROps.
• VROps: custom dashboards and adapters for storage, SQL, and Oracle.
• Knowledge of Hyperic for OS metrics monitoring and dashboarding.
• Strong understanding of distributed vROps 6.1 implementations.

Responsibilities

• Create custom dashboards and monitor OS metrics with Hyperic.
• Participate in the development and production environments.
• Create and maintain vROps dashboards with storage and application adapters (SQL/Oracle).
• Monitor OS metrics via Hyperic and port data into custom dashboards.
• Implement and support distributed vROps 6.1 setups.

Required skills:

• 90% of work will be orchestrator related; good understanding of standard blueprints with several created in dev and production environments.
• Extensibility into infrastructure such as Remedy, Infoblox, SCOM, network changes, and storage emotion when promoted to production.
• PowerShell and JavaScript experience at minimum.
• For vROps resource: fluent in custom dashboard creation, understanding of extensibility adapters for storage and application‑specific adapters for SQL and Oracle.
• General understanding of Hyperic and ability to use it to monitor OS metrics and port data into custom dashboards.
• Good knowledge base of distributed vROps 6.1 implementation.
