Job summary

Pinnacle Solutions, an Akima company, is seeking a meticulous Software Tester to join our on-site team in Huntsville, Alabama. You will work with QA and developers to validate functionality, usability, and system performance across VMTs and training software.

Responsibilities include defining tests, executing plans, writing test scripts, tracking defects in Jira, and collaborating with instructional designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of software testing or QA experience.
• Familiar with QA methodologies, metrics, tools, and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in writing clear test plans and test cases.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Defines, performs, analyzes, and interprets tests for products and components.
• Develops and applies testing procedures.
• Maintains quality control and reliability standards.
• Documents and tracks bugs, issues, and test results in Jira.
• Writes and manages test cases and scripts.
• Collaborates with QA leads, developers, and instructional designers.
• Ensures releases meet performance and usability standards.
