Job summary

HCLTech in New York, NY is seeking a Robotics Teleoperator to support advanced AI development through hands-on VR-driven robotics work. You will operate high-tech robots using VR headsets and gloves, converting human motion into robotic action while performing structured tasks with accuracy and safety.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, monitor system feedback, label and upload robotics data, and help maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating VR headsets and robotic systems.
• Ability to perform repetitive, precise tasks for AI model development.
• Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and standing/walking during shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotics via VR headset and gloves with precision.
• Record session details and anomalies in tracking tools.
• Organize, label, and upload robotics data.
• Meet daily quotas and quality benchmarks.
• Handle and transport robot batteries (25–30 lbs).
• Calibrate robot workstations and check sensors.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to engineering teams.
• Follow safety guidelines and ergonomic practices.
• Stay immersed with live video feeds and system feedback.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve performance and data quality.
