Job summary

Faraday Future is seeking a Robotics Data Operator to join the Robotics Data Factory in LA. You will collect high-fidelity human and robot data to train next-generation Vision-Language-Action models, capturing real-world interactions and precise robotic movements.

You will wear head-mounted devices, perform VR teleoperation, and ensure data quality and formatting (MCAP, HDF5) with time-synchronization across sensors. This role emphasizes safety and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience or coursework in robotics, AI data handling, or perception.
• Familiarity with video capture parameters and calibration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Egocentric data collection using head-mounted devices to capture first-person tasks.
• VR teleoperation of robotic systems ensuring high-quality, multi-modal data capture.
• Maintain strict recording standards (1080p, 30FPS, FOV >130°) and synchronize sensors.
• Conduct initial self-inspections and ensure data is correctly formatted (MCAP, HDF5) and uploaded.
