Job summary

Oasis XRE is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support students and teachers at Virtual Horizons Charter School. The role involves working with students in virtual and in-person settings, assisting with instructional activities, and helping students use VR technology.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours, with a potential two to three days per week on-site in Lehi, Utah. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and experience with SPED or STEM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in education, SPED, or STEM is a plus.
• Comfort with technology and innovative teaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group academic support to students.
• Assist teachers with instruction, student engagement, projects, and learning activities.
• Help students navigate VR headsets and educational apps.
• Monitor student participation and communicate concerns to teachers.
• Prepare instructional materials and organize learning activities.
