Job Title: VPK Lead Teacher

The VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program) prepares young learners for kindergarten by building a strong educational foundation tailored to each child's developmental stage. As a VPK Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing 4-year-olds based on their needs and program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual development of preschool children.
• Manage classroom operations, curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with licensing, company standards, and VPK guidelines.
• Build meaningful relationships with families to support each child's achievement and the success of the center.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old with a CDA, Associate's degree or higher in education, or Florida Child Care Professional Certificate.
• Experience in leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and center education requirements.
• Willingness to engage in physical activity indoors and outdoors with children.
