The VPK, Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program, prepares early learners for kindergarten and beyond. It builds a strong foundation using developmental-appropriate educational material. The VPK Lead Teacher plans, assesses, and instructs 4-year-olds based on individual needs and program requirements.

As a Lead VPK Teacher, you’ll:

• Create engaging, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management, curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and program standards.
• Build relationships with families to support each child's achievement and the center's success.

We seek energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

• CDA, Associate's degree or higher in education, or Florida Child Care Professional Certificate.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and center educational requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activities with children.
