Job summary

Learning Care Group in Florida is seeking a Lead VPK Teacher to guide four-year-olds through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in a nurturing classroom.

You will mentor fellow teachers, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and program requirements.

You’ll build strong relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s success and the center’s overall outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state childcare education requirements and center policies.
• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors and engage in active play with children.

• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots! Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and program requirements.

The VPK, Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program, prepares early learners for success in kindergarten and beyond. VPK helps build a strong foundation for school using educational material corresponding to various stages in a child's development. The VPK Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program.

As a Lead VPK Teacher, you’ll:
