Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. seeks a VPG Systems Engineer for an on-site role at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The candidate will help develop a live, virtual, and constructive environment to assess robotic and autonomous systems, aligning with MACCA and mission threads.

Required 5–8 years in systems engineering, expertise in Unreal/NVIDIA Omniverse/Unity, and defense simulation programs. Must be a U.S. citizen with DoD security clearance; travel around 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive engineering experience in SEIT programs.
• Experience with Unreal, NVIDIA Omniverse, and Unity simulation engines.
• Familiarity with defense simulation programs (AFSIM, OneSAF, CyberVAN, EMANE).
• On-site integration experience with Soldiers and partners.
• Strong analytical, test design, and data interpretation skills.
• Experience briefing senior government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement V&V for the Virtual Proving Ground LVC ecosystem.
• Ensure alignment between VPG test capabilities and MACCA.
• Oversee integration of digital twins, simulation plugins, and synthetic environments.
• Evaluate emergent autonomous solutions for potential VPG transition.
• Design experiments and collect quantitative and Soldier feedback data.
• Collaborate with Mission Engineering, ATEC, and operational units.
