Job summary

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in Chicago seeks a Vice President Supervisory Manager to lead end-to-end risk escalations and regulatory oversight. You will oversee e-communications, trade correction reviews, and approval processes while guiding field management and supervisory staff toward compliant resolutions.

You will manage complex client accounts, apply firm policies, and drive process improvements within a dynamic team environment. Strong licensing and regulatory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in the securities and investment industry.
• Deep understanding of advisory services and complex client accounts.
• Knowledge of US financial regulation including FINRA rules.
• Strong risk management and independent decision making.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Able to collaborate across levels and manage time effectively.
• Licensed or able to obtain FINRA Series 7 and related licenses within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Resolve e-communication and transaction-related inquiries and oversee trade corrections.
• Review and approve all incoming/outgoing correspondence across lines of business.
• Partner with Field Management and Supervisory Managers to resolve exceptions.
• Lead and implement firm-wide initiatives and supervise daily operations.
• Respond to Compliance, Supervision, and Audit inquiries promptly.
• Undertake project work and train new team members as assigned.
• Escalate supervisory issues with actionable recommendations.
• Review items escalated internally across levels.
• Identify process improvements and drive change.
• Influence stakeholders to achieve final resolutions.
