Job description

The Wealth Management Advisory Performance Reporting Vice President will provide centralized analytical and operational support to Financial Advisors in the design, production, and ongoing enhancement of customized performance reporting solutions for sophisticated clients. The role will focus on developing consolidated reporting packages, supporting client onboarding to the technology platform, and helping Financial Advisors leverage reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics to identify meaningful portfolio insights beyond investment returns.

This individual will serve as a key point of contact for performance reporting-related matters, partnering closely with Financial Advisor Teams, Advisory Operations, and the technology vendor(s) to ensure timely issue resolution, effective platform utilization, and a high-quality client reporting experience. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, technical aptitude, communication skills, and a willingness to partner with a wide variety of personality types.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide centralized support to Financial Advisors in the creation of customized and consolidated performance reporting packages for sophisticated clients.
  • Coordinate all aspects of client onboarding to the performance reporting platform, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation process.
  • Proactively partner with Financial Advisors to design tailored reporting templates and presentation materials that support client-specific objectives and preferences.
  • Assist Financial Advisors in identifying key portfolio highlights, trends, and insights beyond standard return reporting.
  • Promote and support increased usage of Addepar reporting tools, dashboards, and Financial Advisor views to provide timely "at-a-glance" portfolio information.
  • Provide one-on-one guidance to Financial Advisors in designing effective dashboard views and custom reporting outputs.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for performance reporting requests, questions, and issues from and Financial Advisor Teams.
  • Manage the ongoing relationship with the technology vendor(s), including staying informed of platform updates, enhancements, and functionality changes that may affect users.
  • Lead execution of the Alternatives Data Management process, including coordination of required Letters of Authorization and oversight of statement collection, data upload, and reconciliation workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in investment performance reporting, investment operations, advisory operations, or a related wealth and/or investment management function.
  • Demonstrated understanding of investment performance measurement concepts, including returns, benchmarks, attribution, and portfolio analytics.
  • Familiarity with Addepar or similar performance reporting, portfolio analytics, or wealth management technology platforms.
  • Experience reviewing large data sets to identify trends, detect inconsistencies, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with client-facing reports and performance data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive timely resolution.
  • Advanced communication skills to explain reporting concepts, platform functionality, and data-related issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience building effective working relationships with Sales teams, operations partners, and external vendors.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools (excel or others) and experience working with large data sets is preferred.

  • Increased adoption and effective use of performance reporting, dashboards, and client portal functionality by Financial Advisors.
  • Successful implementation and ongoing execution of the Alternatives Data Management process.
  • Timely and effective resolution of performance reporting requests and platform-related issues.
  • Feedback from Financial Advisor teams, peers, and internal business partners.
  • Measurable contribution to Advisory Operations efficiency and an enhanced client reporting experience.

New York, NY Full Time Base Salary Range of $140,000 - $180,000.
