Jefferies is seeking an Equity Research Associate to build and maintain financial models, conduct quantitative and fundamental analysis of U.S. equity markets, and support senior strategists in producing clear investment research and marketing materials.

You will collaborate with cross-regional teams, communicate investment views to internal and external stakeholders, and leverage diverse datasets to identify trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA a plus.
• 1–3 years of experience in equity research, investment strategy, asset management, or a related analytical role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Passion for financial markets, investing, and macro-economic trends.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear and actionable investment conclusions.
• Experience with large datasets and statistical analysis.

• Familiarity with financial data platforms such as FactSet, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar resources is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
• FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63, 86, and 87) or the ability to obtain them upon hire preferred.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
