Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring to lead warehouse operations and supervise a driver fleet. The role requires strong leadership of 150+ staff, ensuring safety, compliance and profitability while aligning with senior management goals.

You will drive budgeting, budgeting reviews, and continuous process improvements to support efficient food distribution. A collaborative, results‑oriented approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–10 years in foodservice operations or related area with management experience.
• 2–3 years in a leadership role for a team of more than 150 direct and indirect reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise scheduling, training and development counseling, performance management and problem resolution; conduct department meetings.
• Manage inventory dollar levels to optimize cash flow and service levels; develop yearly budgets and monitor monthly performance.
• Oversee warehouse inventory organization and quarterly reviews; manage operations budget development and reporting.
• Interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and accurate manner; respond to questions promptly.
• Establish procedures to maximize efficiency of the operations department and productivity.
• Solve operational problems and adapt to variable conditions with minimal standardization.
• Improve operational strategies and processes based on knowledge of food distribution.
