Job summary

Neuberger Berman is seeking a highly motivated, strategic thinker to join its new venture capital team in San Francisco. You will run the team, manage sourcing, and act as a thought leader in technology, collaborating with senior leaders across the firm.

In this partner-track role, you’ll deliver deal execution, identify emerging tech themes, and build lasting relationships with entrepreneurs while gaining insight into private and public market strategies within a global asset manager with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology investing or operational roles at high-growth startups.
• Buy-side investing experience preferred; private equity or venture capital; TMT banking is a plus.
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or enterprise software; PM/ops/sales leadership backgrounds are ideal.
• STEM or finance degree in CS/math or related technical field; MBA ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Run the team internally, track every deal, and deliver all outputs with precision.
• Manage the sourcing process to ensure all parties meet their responsibilities.
• Be a technology thought leader; develop themes to guide sourcing efforts.
• Identify and bring in deals independently, collaborating with senior partners.
• Engage with entrepreneurs and senior leaders across Neuberger Berman.
