Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Seven+ years of progressively responsible administrative supervisory experience, including at least two years at a managerial level.
• Five+ years' experience in financial management, preferably in higher education.
• Experience in fiscal and staff management.
• Proficiency with personal computers, spreadsheet software applications, and enterprise wide automated financial systems.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the University's accounting services functions, including general ledger and fund accounting.
• Lead and support directors across Central Accounting, Accounts Payable, Student Business Services, Payroll, and Purchasing.
• Direct the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to promote operational excellence and robust compliance.
• Collaborate with the Finance & Administration leadership team to advance the University's goals.
• Serve as a key partner in conflict resolution and continuous improvement.
